Entrance closures are used on hives in case they need to be transported from place to another.
especially if they are being transported inside a car.
The bees will not be able to escape and sting you, when using a entrance closure.
Please note that they cannot be left closed up over several hours as they will overheat and die.
Attach to front of hive with nail.
Then drill hole above the closure about 1cm and place nail from inside of the hive through the hole.
Bend this nail inwards, creating a holder for the entrance closure.
You now can keep the entrance open as well as close with the closure attached.
