    Apivar is a synthetic treatment for the control of Varroa destructor mites in honeybee hives.

    Apivar contains amitraz in a polymer strip which is easy to install in the brood box, even with gloves on. It is continuously released over six to ten weeks, making sure your hives stay healthy and productive over a long period. Apivar delivers results regardless of weather conditions or temperature. It has been a reliable and effective mite treatment for over 15 years.

    USE

    Use 2 strips per brood chamber within 2 frames from the edge of the cluster, or 1 strip per nuclei colony
    Remove after 6-10 weeks

    Storage
    Store below 30 C in original closed package.

    Disposal
    Dispose of container by wrapping with paper and putting in garbage.

    Record keeping
    Maintain records of all treatments performed under this permit. Details must include the date and locations where treatments occurred, the total amount of product used, and the names and addresses of the persons undertaking the use. These details must be maintained for a minimum period of two years from the date of expiry of this permit and must be made available to the APVMA upon request.
